Yamaha New Lunch R15 M

The all new and fresh Yamaha R15M has officially entered Nepal. The official distributor of Yamaha; MW Enterprises, conducted a press meet at Genesis cafe to announce the launch and availability of this bike in the Nepali market. This is one of the most technologically equipped and futuristic bikes that Yamaha has brought into the Nepali market. It is the 5th generation bike from the R and M series of Yamaha’s racing bikes. This bike is majorly targeted towards the youths who are keen towards track speed, curve and super sports bikes. The R is equipped with new graphics, 3D emblem, Y-Connect, two level seating and other amazing features that makes this bike one of its kind. From its predecessors it has come with some notable changes such as a new single bifunctional Class-D LED headlamp with DRLs on both sides. The new 3D Logo on the fuel tank gives a high-end look to the bike. Similarly, the anodized blue fork caps, bodywork, and carbon-like seat cover are other new design elements. It now has a highly aerodynamic fairing, making it the sportiest track racing bike on the market. The R15M is available with two different color schemes: Metallic Gray and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition.
Talking about its engine specifications, The 155cc liquid-cooled FI engine powers Yamaha R15M that produces 18.4PS of max power and 14.2Nm torque. When compared to the V3.0, power is slightly lower but torque has increased by 0.1 Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. In addition, the BS6-compliant motor has Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The Yamaha R15M stands on a delta box frame and has brand-new Golden Upside-down (USD) front forks. As for the rear suspension, it comes with the same preload-adjustable Mono shock. Dual-channel ABS is standard for further safety. Another significant change to the bike is a larger 140/70 radial tubeless rear tyre.

In addition, via Y-Connect, riders can view notifications such as phone calls, SMS and email alerts on the bike's LCD cluster. From Sunday, Yamaha showrooms all over Nepal will hold the R15M model. With the launch of this bike, the company had announced a new scheme “ Road to MotoGP”. This scheme is for the 4 lucky winners who will have the golden opportunity to watch live MotoGP broadcasts from Chang International Circuit, Thailand.This scheme is applicable with purchase of any Yamaha bike and scooter.
