The new flagship model of SHARK; the Race-R Pro GP FIM racing, has become the world’s first brand to be awarded the FIM certification, which is the highest rating for a racer helmet. It has secured its position along with very few helmets that are allotted 5-star rating under the safety sector. The video is a look through of the most prominent features of this amazing helmet. Its shell is made up of the most sturdy and light material; carbon fiber. Yamaha FZ - X | Review Video

Yamaha has a set image of a change maker. The all new and sleek Yamaha FZ-X, from its predecessor the FZ series, is set to create a shift in the Nepali automobile market.

BODY
The overall design of the Yamaha FZ-X seems to be a retro take to its predecessor; the sportier FZ series. The FZ-X is comparatively larger in size than the original FZ series. It has a new BI functional LED headlight, DRL along with its tail light that lights up in an oval-shape ring and halogen side indicators. Due to its LED projector headlamp, night rides are smoother and energy consumption is also on the lower spectrum. As the reflector lenses are positioned in the middle section, an even more classy and clean look is portrayed. The muscular looking fuel tank along the long black exhaust to give the laid back and relaxed yet sleek look. This bike has an upright riding position which consequently, rests the foot position a little higher than usual, giving it some added retro feel. The bike’s dual-purpose tyres and fork gaiters gives the whole design an extensively tough appearance. The stylish LED instrument console is a perfect blend of both traditional and modern design. The fuel tank in true FZ fashion is a large unit because of this rider can feel the added mass to the bike’s body. Because of the added mass and volume, the kerb weight of the FZ-X is
139 kgs, which is definitely on the heavier side.

ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
The FZ-X being the successor of the Yamaha FZS V3, no such drastic change can be witnessed in terms of engine and performance. The FZ-X comes with an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected “BLUE CORE'' engine. Yamaha has a tried, tested and trusted FI system since its launch in the year 2008. It has a BS6 emission standard, with a max power of 12.4 PS @ 7250 rpm and a max torque of 13.3 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The 10-liter fuel tank gives a mileage of approximately 45-50 kmpl, accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in around 15 seconds and its top speed is approximately recorded at 115 kmph. Talking about the bike’s dimensions, it has 165mm ground clearance with a 810 mm seat height along with a dual level seating feature. This bike is incorporated with attributes such as strength, toughness, safety and comfort. Keeping comfort as the bike’s utmost priority, slip repellent tuck and roll seats, single channel ABS and front disc brakes, block pattern tyres and telescopic suspension with front fork boot are some features of the FZ-X that gives the rider an uninterrupted riding experience and superiorsafety while riding the bike. The 41 mm Telescopic Fork Front suspension with fork boot which helps the suspension to repel any damages due to external dust and agents alongside giving it a retro look, whereas the Rear Suspension has a 7-step adjustable monocross suspension. Looking into the braking system of the FZ-X, the front brakes are equipped with a 282 mm ABS disc brake and the rear is a 220 mm disc brake. The measurements of the bike’s tubeless tyres include a 100/80 front tyre and a 140/60 rear tyre. These tyres are engraved with a black pattern that makes the bike cruise in any dry, slippery or even rough terrain.

FEATURES
To make Yamaha FZ-X superior at safety, there are many features crafted by Yamaha to achieve this title. The bike has a very crucial feature of a side stand engine cut off. This equips the bike to prevent starting it, on gear, when the bike is rested on the side stand, and also automatically turns the engine off while driving, when the bike is on the side stand. The metal under cowl covers and protects the engine as well as the rider safe from any potential damage that may occur. Yamaha has introduced features that fulfills the needs of the technologically advanced and modern market. These features majorly include the fully digital instrument cluster, power outlet (Shocket) and the Yamaha Y-connect app. The digital instrument cluster consists of speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meter to a digital clock. This negative LCD meter even supports clear visibility during the day time. The power outlets are USB outlets where one can easily charge their mobile devices when on-the-go. And finally, the Yamaha Y-connect app makes communication between the rider and their bike even more convenient. Connecting the smartphone and bike through Bluetooth directs to retrieving 7 features from this application which are Fuel Consumption Tracker, Last parking Location, Revs Dashboard showing engine rpm and acceleration rate, Maintenance Recommendation of engine oil change and upcoming servicing dates, Malfunction Notification, ranking on distance traveled and eco-friendliness ranks, Phone Battery Level, Missed Calls and SMS and other more notifications. This feature really makes the FZ-X stand out in the market that majorly include techfriendly riders.

OVERVIEW
Even though the bike claims top-notch features and quality, there are some issues with its handling. It has a balanced and neutral chassis, but it cannot be considered to be the sharpest in the segment. The block pattern tyres work amazing on dry surfaces, but it doesn't have the ability to go beyond its pre-defined limits. Its off-roading capabilities are identical to the standard FZ because their suspension and ground clearance remain the same with a slight improvement on its grip in the rough terrain. Priced at Rs. 4,26,900, this bike is definitely different from a regular Yamaha sports bike, making it worth its value. This bike comes in two variants; STD and with Y-connect, available in color options of Matte Copper, Matte Black and Metallic Blue. Yamaha FZ-X is a striking and unique motorcycle. The buyer will be able to experience a tried, tested and trusted model, which is considered both a practical and eye-catching motorbike.

BMW has released G310 RR

BMW has released a teaser for its upcoming bike through various social media platforms, raising the viewers' excitement. The overall look of the bike resonates with the fair, sportbike version of the company's G310R Street Fighter. This new model is expected to launch on July 15 and spectacularly looks like a revised version of the existing TVS Apache RR310. As seen in the most recent teaser, the design of the LED taillights of BMW's new bike is similar to that of the TVS Apache RR310. The other design of the bike is pretty visibly similar to TVS’s Apache RR310. The teaser features an instrument console, but the new model is expected to have the same TFT (Thin Film Transistor) unit as the TVS sports bike. Like BMW's previous models; the G310R and G310GS, it will have a monochrome LCD instrument console.
The new BMW G310 RR will be powered by a 312 cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine similar to the TVS Apache RR310. The reverse incline engine is capable of generating 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque in Sport and Track modes respectively. It generates 25.8 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque in 'Rain' and 'Urban' modes. The bike has a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. Riding mode is not available on BMW's current 310cc model but it will be soon updated with Riding Mode and TFT Instrument Console in the near future after the company launches the BMW G310 RR. According to the teaser, it is clear that BMW's new 310cc sports bike will have the brand's signature colors which includes white and red, blue and violet highlights. Even though being a motorbike on the more premium side, the BMW G310 RR profoundly shows attributes of the TVS Apache RR310, which is priced at Rs. 7.79 lakh, almost two lakh lesser than the BMW version of it which is priced at Rs. 9.5 to 9.75 lakh.
